Mission

We promote indigenous peoples' issues and concerns at community and national levels for sustainable development and environment.

Objectives

  • Conduct relevant research on the issues and concerns of indigenous peoples on climate change, education, forestry, health and environment, livelihoods and social entrepreneurship in Nepal,

  • Advocate, disseminate and publicize the issues and concerns of indigenous peoples on relevant national and international policies, procedures, negotiations, agreements and conventions,

  • Design and implement programs related to the issues and concerns of indigenous peoples,

  • Develop different networks among Indigenous Peoples Organizations (IPOs) working on the issues of climate change and environment, health, education, social entrepreneurship and development at local, national and global levels.

Approach

Our approach is dedicated to pursue and design program activities and implementation that increase full and effective participation, voice, self-reliance of indigenous peoples and marginalized local communities of Nepal.
